Job Description
Position Summary
The Inside Sales & Marketing Coordinator will support the sales and marketing activities of the regional Service Center, playing an integral role in driving customer engagement, supporting revenue growth, and strengthening the company’s presence within the industry.
This position partners closely with Outside Sales Engineers and the Operations team to ensure seamless coordination of sales support activities, proposal development, customer follow-up, and execution of area marketing initiatives. Priorities may shift based on business needs, requiring adaptability, strong communication skills, and a customer-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Customer Engagement
Provide inside sales support to help consistently achieve and exceed regional sales performance goals.
Conduct regular outbound sales calls to existing major accounts while developing relationships with new prospective customers.
Serve as a key point of contact for customer inquiries, follow-ups, and service-related sales coordination.
Proposal & Quotation Development
Prepare short-form quotations and acceptance testing proposals in collaboration with estimators and technical teams.
Ensure all proposal pricing is accurate, competitive, and technically aligned with customer requirements.
Maintain consistent follow-up on submitted proposals to drive closure and customer satisfaction.
Marketing & Industry Promotion
Support marketing initiatives that enhance the company’s brand visibility and reputation across the industry.
Execute monthly area marketing plans and assist in distributing promotional and technical materials to support field sales efforts.
Participate in trade shows, professional associations, and industry events to strengthen relationships and promote business development.
Reporting & Administrative Support
Prepare and deliver monthly regional sales activity reports and performance updates.
Assist in coordinating communication between sales, operations, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on customer needs and business priorities.
Public Relations & Professional Representation
Act as a professional ambassador for the organization through active involvement in trade organizations and customer-facing events.
Support public relations activities that contribute to long-term customer trust and market presence.

Qualifications
Education & Experience Requirements
Candidates must meet one of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BSEE/BSME) with no prior experience required, OR
Graduate of an electrical technical school (or equivalent) with at least 1 year of related experience, OR
High school diploma (or equivalent) with 3 years of similar inside sales or service support experience.
Additional Requirements
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, and occasional overnight travel within the sales territory.
Ability to perform office-based work as well as walk-throughs at construction or industrial job sites.
Comfortable working in and around electrical equipment environments.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and work at a computer using hands and fingers.
Must have close vision and the ability to adjust focus for detailed work and technical documentation.
