    We are seeking a Director of Strategic Marketing – Power to lead global marketing strategy and execution for our client Power Management portfolio. This role serves as the primary strategic voice for the business, driving product positioning, go-to-market initiatives, launch governance, competitive intelligence, and campaign development across AC/DC power systems, energy storage, power distribution, switchgear, busway systems, and related solutions.

    This is an on-site position at our Global Headquarters in Westerville, Ohio.


    Key Responsibilities

    Portfolio Leadership & Strategic Marketing

    • Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the Power Management business unit within the Global Portfolio Marketing COE.

    • Act as the portfolio expert, owning holistic positioning, solutions strategy, and marketing initiatives across all Power product lines.

    • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies that support business growth, revenue, and customer adoption.


    Product Launch & Go-to-Market Execution

    • Lead product launch governance and program plans for new and existing Power solutions.

    • Drive a solutions marketing mindset across the business unit through effective go-to-market planning and execution.

    • Own product messaging and positioning that fuels campaigns, promotions, and external communications.


    Content Development & Sales Enablement

    • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Power-related marketing content, including written collateral, media, events, and planning.

    • Develop customer-facing collateral such as data sheets, brochures, website content, and case studies.

    • Create sales tools, training materials, and enablement resources to support solution selling.

    • Partner with Sales and Offering Management teams to ensure effective enablement strategies and execution.


    Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning

    • Conduct competitive analysis and develop positioning strategies to differentiate the Power portfolio.

    • Research market and industry trends, customer applications, and competitive landscape developments.

    • Track offering performance and provide trend insights to Marketing and Global Offering Management teams.


    Cross-Functional Leadership & Regional Support

    • Present portfolio marketing initiatives, outcomes, and strategic plans to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

    • Support regional marketing programs to address market opportunities and evolving customer needs.

    • Collaborate across functional teams to drive alignment, execution, and performance.


    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in product marketing, channel marketing, engineering, or product management within a B2B technical industry.

    • Minimum of 5+ years of people leadership experience.

    • At least 5+ years of experience in a technical industry (data centers preferred).

    • Strong knowledge of Power Management solutions, including AC/DC systems, energy storage, power distribution, switchgear, and busway systems.

    • Proven ability to develop value propositions, messaging strategies, and marketing-driven pipeline programs.

    • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.

    • Experience with data analysis and communicating insights to diverse audiences.

    • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

    • Highly collaborative with strong cross-functional leadership capabilities.

    • Excellent organizational, process-oriented, and communication skills.

    • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable owning strategic initiatives end-to-end.

    • Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and apply them effectively in marketing execution.
